The Science and Healing Potential of Ozone Therapy

  • Over 2,500 studies exist on ozone therapy and it has shown a higher safety record than the use of aspirin
  • Ozone works by stimulating a small amount of stress, prompting the body to respond by autocorrecting and rebalancing multiple systems. Ozone also stimulates the NrF2 pathway, which is the same pathway induced during exercise, saunas, and fasting, and tells the body to naturally create antioxidant enzymes, causing the body to correct oxidative stress and cell protection.
  • A herxheimer reaction is the most negative side effect.  Since ozone stimulates the immune system, it can cause the body to start killing off lots of pathogens.  The pathogens release endotoxins when they die, which can make a person feel sick for a few days.  The therapy needs to be respected by starting off with lower doses and working your way up.
