The further I’ve gone in my work as a nurse practitioner and my own healing journey the more I’ve learned how medical school systematizes us to think a certain way instead of understanding the entire body.

As providers, we are taught to prescribe drugs instead of using food as medicine. We are taught to compartmentalize the body instead of look at the whole person's health. We are taught not to question the system and do only as they say or fear for our license. If you don’t prescribe to their prescription medicine only dogma you’re not “a real doctor”.

There is only the rhetoric “check with your medical doctor” for ALL THINGS so you will always be told that you don’t actually know about your own body, you can’t trust your body, and you better ALWAYS consult the experts who are taught in this very system.
